Needs of Nature #poetry and #prose — tales told different

Please click through the link above this line to visit “tales told different” and read one of Judeitakali wonderful nature poems. This is my second attempt at trying to reblog from another WordPress page, at least this time you get to see the first image and words. I’m getting better, yes? I stumble, I learn on the go, hopefully there are no snake pits ahead. Please forgive me if I miss any social nuances, it happens sometimes.

Dew’s drop

Spirit that bathes the mountains, healing mother flowing from the sky

resilient force against carelessness, yet you harbor life.

Drip, drop, drip, drop

your wet heart fills my vessel

in one sip you transform me, traveling through my body,

embracing in amniotic currents the one I love

before knowing him.

Red Feather, Blue Feather

Red feather, blue feather
The secrets keep her awake at night.
Rock wolves surround the temple floor.
Black panther stands at the door.

 Monkeys scream,
 the birds take flight.
 Caves purge when bats alight.
 Another man will die tonight.

I dreamt of a time and place I’ve never been to before. Palenque – Palenque, Mexico – Atlas Obscura
